Our Story

Brett started in the industry at an early age working in the factory for a family business making seasonings. There he learned all about ingredients. Driven by an intense motivation to keep moving up and learning all that he could about the dairy and ingredients world, he was eventually introduced to trading and found his niche. He started trading in 1997 and has specialized in dairy.

He founded Robinson Dairy Trading Inc. in 2022 in Milton, Ontario, Canada. Having been in the Canadian marketplace, he can assist you with Imports and Exports, Domestic Trading, trade agreements and navigating Canada’s Supply managed system.

Brett will always deal with his clients in a professional manner always with the clients’ happiness and satisfaction as his top priority.

Edouard studied Finance at University and, shortly after graduating, started trading cheese and dairy ingredients at a trading company where he worked with Brett, an owner. It was there that their working relationship and immense compatibility started. He is based out of Montreal, Quebec. 

His role at Robinson Dairy Trading is to handle the cheese business for both domestic and imported products. He can assist in sourcing cheeses that will meet your requirements and provide guidance on Trade Agreements, Canadian dairy regulations and market intelligence. Edouard prides himself on his honesty and integrity, which is the key to his success in the industry, and he remains a trusted advisor in the Dairy Industry. He is fluent in French and English, which brings an incredible advantage to Robinson Dairy Trading as it will open domestic and international opportunities.

With over 20 years of experience in the Canadian dairy industry, Dan brings with him a proven track record of market knowledge, commercial expertise, and disciplined

execution. 

Holding a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics with a Minor in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, he combines strong analytical foundations with real-world trading experience. This work is underpinned by an in-depth understanding of milk markets and dairy ingredient functionality, enabling him to navigate the complexities of Canada’s supply-managed system while delivering informed, responsive solutions to customers and partners.

Known for a service-first approach anchored in integrity and trust, he values long-term relationships and consistency. Respected for transparency, reliability, and commitment to doing business the right way.
